You might be coming to the age when retirement is looming on the horizon. For many of us this fills us with dread. What will you do when the magic age of 67 or 68, or whatever the age may be as it keeps changing, comes along and you can finally not have the trip to the office anymore? The good news is there are more than enough things that you can do. One thing that you really don’t have to worry about is where you can live. Park Homes for Sale in Gloucestershire offer a community of equally retired people like yourself who are finding a place to live together. 1. Keep working. At least on a part time basis. You don’t actually have to retire if you don’t want to. Studies show that we should only be working part time from the age of 50 onwards anyway for life longevity.
  2. Volunteer. There are so many organisations that rely on this free giving of your time. You can start to give something back to the community or you could go and work for the National Trust and English Heritage. It will give you the chance to learn about the property you volunteer at.

  1. Become a student again. You can devote all your time to a period of study. It doesn’t have to be History, you could look at the English Classics or maybe learn a new language.

That’s just three things, there is also crafting, model making and getting some good walks in and spending time with the family.
