Personal Care Support

Support with personal care such as washing, dressing and managing personal hygiene. Examples of support are assisting with a morning shower, assisting with dressing and supporting with oral care.

Household and Domestic Tasks

As well as supporting clients with personal care, the care assistant can assist with some light housekeeping, meal preparation, and management of grocery shopping. This can include cleaning of clients’ homes to ensure that they are kept safe and clean.
